New Delhi: The final list of nominees for the famous golden award, which will be announced this evening, will include all of the Oscars 2023 hopefuls. The big event for world cinema is only a few months away. In the entire world, especially among Indian fans, there is eager anticipation to hear which of their favourite actors or films have been picked. Given that we have not one, but four Oscar contenders this year—SS Rajamouli's 'RRR', the Gujarati movie 'Chhello Show' (The Last Film Show), Shaunak Sen's documentary ''All That Breathes', and lastly the Netflix documentary 'The Elephant Whisperers'—India has a fair stake in the Academy Awards.
Owing to its highly publicised Oscar campaign, which lasted over the latter half of last year and the beginning of 2023, Rajamouli's magnum opus RRR, which stars Ram Charan and NTR Jr. in the lead, is predicted to receive numerous nominations. In addition to Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actor, the film's makers had also entered it in other categories.
