Mumbai Rave Party Case | NCB Arrests SRK’s Son Aryan Khan, 2 Others: ANI

Aryan Khan, Munmun Dhamecha and Arbaz Merchant, who have been arrested in an alleged rave party case, will be produced before a magistrate court, as per ANI.

Mumbai: The Narcotics Control Bureau on Sunday (October 3) arrested Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan, Arbaz Seth Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha in connection with the raid at an alleged rave party at a luxury cruise ship, according to a report in ANI. The star kid and two others will be produced before a magistrate court, NCB sources told the news agency. 

Aryan, Arbaz and Munmun were taken for a medical examination to JJ Hospital in Mumbai. They were brought back to the NCB office after the medical check-up, as per ANI. 

The anti-drugs law enforcement agency on Saturday (October 2) had busted an alleged rave party aboard a luxury cruise. Ten people including Aryan were questioned in connection with the alleged party which they attended on a Mumbai-Goa cruise. 

"Eight persons- Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant, Munmum Dhamecha, Nupur sarika, Ismeet Singh, Vikrant Chhoker, Gomit Chopra, Mohak Jaswal are being questioned in connection with the raid at an alleged rave party at a cruise off Mumbai coast," NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede, who led the raid, was quoted as saying by ANI. 

The NCB team had raided the cruise after receiving a tip-off that a party was scheduled on the Goa-bound ship. The officials recovered drugs from some of the passengers, another report in PTI said.

Cruise Company Issues Statement After NCB's Raid At Rave Party

In its statement, Cordelia Cruises said that it had nothing with the incident, which has become the talk of the town. The company added that it was not 'directly or indirectly connected with the raid, which was conducted by NCB.

"Cordelia Cruises is in no way, directly or indirectly, connected to this incident. Cordelia Cruises had chartered its ship for a private event to a Delhi-based event management company. We, at Cordelia Cruises, condemn all acts such as these and will strictly refrain from letting our ship out for similar events in the future. Nonetheless, Cordelia Cruises is extending our full support and cooperating with the authorities," the statement read.

Satish Maneshinde To Represent Aryan Khan: Sources

According to NCB sources, Satish Maneshinde will represent Aryan Khan in connection with the Mumbai rave party case. He had earlier represented Rhea Chakraborty, who was the main accused in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case.
