#MeToo: Akshay Kumar cancels 'Housefull 4' after allegations of harassment against Sajid Khan!

As a part of India's #MeToo movement, TV actress Saloni Chopra & a female journalist named Karishma Upadhyay accused Farah Khan's brother & host-director Sajid Khan of sexual misconduct. Later, 'Ungli' actress Rachel White too accused Sajid Khan for sexual harassment & shared her story when he asked her to strip for him during a meeting. Ever since then, everyone was waiting for actor Akshay Kumar's reaction on the same as he is a part of Sajid Khan's next directorial venture 'Housefull 4'. And now, Bollywood's 'Khiladi' has finally reacted on the same. Sajid Khan(Photo: Manav Manglani) Akshay Kumar took to his Twitter account and revealed that he has asked the producers of 'Housefull 4' to cancel the film's shoot until further investigation in the sexual harassment controversy against director Sajid Khan. He further added that, he will not work with any proven offenders. I've requested the producers of Housefull 4 to cancel the shoot until further investigation. This is something that requires stringent action. #MeToo: Sona Mohapatra claims Kailash Kher sexually harassed her Sajid Khan is not the first celeb who has been accused of sexual misconduct. #MeToo in India started recently when actress Tanushree Dutta accused Nana Patekar of sexual harassment during the shoot of 2008 film 'Horn OK Please'. After which, other women too came forward and shared their harassment stories on social media and accused known names like Rajat Kapoor, Vikas Bahl, Alok Nath, Subhash Ghai among others.
