'Mere Husband Ki Biwi' starring Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Rakul Preet Singh's romantic comedy has had a slow start at the box office despite good word-of-mouth reviews. As per Sacnilk.com, the film has collected Rs. 4.23 cr on its first weekend.

The film opened to Rs. 1.3 cr on its opening day. On Saturday, the film collected Rs. 1.7 cr. On its first Sunday, the film collected Rs. 1.03 cr, taking the total collection to Rs. 4.23 cr.
The Arjun, Bhumi and Rakul film faces tough competition from Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna's 'Chhaava'. The epic-period actioner has become 2025's biggest blockbuster with massive numbers showing no signs of slowing down even in its second week.
As per Sacnilk.com, the film collected ₹36.68 crore on its second Sunday, pushing its total to ₹323.43 crore.
'Mere Husband Ki Biwi's director Mudassar Aziz recently spoke about his clash with 'Chhaava' in an interaction with Bollywood Hungama where he said, "Sir, ‘Mera paigham mohabbat hai, jahan tak pahunche!’ What the film does in the presence or absence of Chhaava isn’t in my control. Putting my best foot forward to entertain people is the only thing that is in my control. I will always appeal to my families, my women audience, my humour lovers, and leave the rest to the Almighty."
Mere Husband Ki Biwi review
As per our in-house review, ‘Mere Husband Ki Biwi’ is a good time-pass entertainer. The first half feels stretched and takes a while to get to the point, which is a drawback. However, the second half picks up, especially with the amusing confrontations between Rakul and Bhumi. The film has its fair share of funny moments, but it also borders on being childish at times. Despite this, it manages to hold the audience’s attention.
One aspect that feels repetitive in Bollywood films is the clichéd climax where a heartbroken character immediately rushes to the airport. The convenience of getting last-minute flight tickets and friends somehow reaching airport terminals without any security issues is becoming predictable. This film also follows that pattern, but overall, it remains an entertaining watch.
