Mahesh Babu Wishes Fans On Ugadi, Urges Them To Follow 6 Golden Rules To #FightAgainstCoronavirus

Mahesh Babu wished his fans on the occasion of Ugadi 2020 and requested them to take precautionary measures against Coronavirus.

New Delhi: The Coronavirus outbreak has brought the world to a standstill, forcing the people to stay at their homes. The states of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are celebrating the festival of Ugadi on Wednesday (March 25). The people had no option but to celebrate the festival indoors due to the 21-day nationwide lockdown to combat COVID-19. South superstar Mahesh Babu took to social media to wish his fans on the occasion of Ugadi 2020. The 'Aagadu' actor emphasised on the need to follow the basic rules of safety during this time of crisis. Mahesh Babu tweeted,  “Wishing you all a very happy Homebound Ugadi !! During these unprecedented times. I request all of you to follow the 6 golden rules to #FightagainstCoronavirus. It’s important to follow the instructions issued by our state and central governments.”
The 'Bharat Ane Nenu' star also penned down the 6 golden rules and asked his fans to follow them. He wrote, "1 The first and most important rule is to stay at home. Do not step out unless there is an emergency. 2 Make sure you wash your hands with soap and water very frequently for at least 20/30seconds. 3 Avoid touching your face especially eyes mouth and nose. 4 Use your elbows or tissue when coughing or sneezing. 5 Please understand the need for social distancing, keep a minimum 3-meter distance from the other person inside or outside your house. 6 Use a mask only if you have symptoms or feeling sick. Please contact the doctor or clinic if you have COVID-19 symptoms ( Fever, Dry Cough, Breathlessness ) Be well informed and trust information from the right sources. Let's pray, let’s hope and let’s win this together people."
On the professional front, Mahesh Babu was last seen in 'Sarileru Neekevvaru', which turned out to be a big commercial success at the box office.  The film, which released in January 2020, minted phenomenal numbers during its theatrical run. 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' was Mahesh Babu’s third consecutive film, which crossed the magical Rs 100 crore mark. The actor played the role of an Army officer in the action comedy film. Mahesh Babu's fans are eagerly waiting for their superstar to make an announcement for his next film. Speculations are rife that the 'Spyder' actor will be feature in a film titled 'SSMB27' opposite Samantha Akkineni and Pooja Hegde. Watch this space for more updates!
