The romantic-comedy that explores live in relationships has opened to 8.01 crores, beating films like Raazi, Badhaai Ho, and lead actor Kartik’s own Sonu ke Titu ki sweety record on day 1. Luka Chuppi, which released alongside Sushant Singh Rajput and Bhumi Pednekar’s Sonchiriya, is being pegged as a winner among the two, as far as the first box office weekend is concerned. Apart from Kriti Sanon and Kartik Aaryan, the movie also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Vinay Pathak and Aparshakti Khurana in pivotal roles. The film promises to hold strong this weekend and will be boosted on Monday due to a partial holiday.
