Katrina Kaif's old Wax Statue placed at Madame Tussauds New York faces fresh volley of bad comments

Currently holidaying in London with her family and sisters, the 'Thugs Of Hindostan' actress is the talk of the social media pages as well as news reports right now as the pictures of her Madame Tussauds London museum wax statue have resurfaced and going viral. Latest reports are saying that this is a new statue unveiled at Times Square's Madame Tussauds museum and also that this is the third wax figure of Katrina to have been revealed. Well, it is not! It all started when the Twitter handle of Madame Tussauds New York recently shared series of pictures announcing a temporary 'Bollywood Bash' festival they are holding and for which they got the wax figures of eight Indian stars together in American museum. Their tweet reads - "It's time for our Bollywood Bash! Our new temporary Bollywood experience is finally here! Come on by @nycwax for some henna, dancing, bhangra beats, DJ and so much more! Hurry on over, this experience is only here until May 31st! #MTBollywoodBash"

Apart from Katrina, the other 7 wax figures put on display in New York are of Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan. This was followed by few other tweets with single pictures of Katrina Kaif, Amitabh Bachchan and SRK asking fans to come and click pictures with their favorite Bollywood celebrity during the two month long affair that kick started on April 9th and would continue till May 31st 2018. The whole confusion started from here when the fans jumped in to give their opinions on Katrina's wax with most of them finding it a total no-match with their gorgeous actress. Finding flaws in the statue's facial features, some even went on to call it Elli Avram's instead! Yeah! 3 years after this statue was originally unveiled actually!

Pictures went viral recently making everyone believe it is a new figure of Katrina placed at New York museum but when we took note of it.. we found something missing! We got down to find more details and figured that this statue is exactly the same as the one Katrina herself had unveiled back in 2015 in London. It has also travelled to Delhi's museum in the past.

The rest was cleared by the posts that official handles of Madame Tussauds have been updating on their different social media pages. The picture they used also is the one from when Katrina's wax statue had travelled to Delhi and in the same attire. However, the dance and celebration to start this festival also added to the rumors of unveiling of Katrina's new statue. Like we told you above, it isn't only Katrina's but also the statues of seven more celebrities that's put on display in New York for temporary 'Bollywood Bash' at the museum and which are sent from different other museums. Katrina stands beside Big B here. Salman's is the one from Delhi museum riding a rickshaw. All of their attires, hair & accessories are ofcourse changed to give a fresh look too!

ALSO - PICS: SRK’s wax statue at Madame Tussauds is beyond-perfection! Fans are BLOWN! We also learnt that this isn't the first time such an activity has taken place. Just 5 years ago in 2013 also, some of the Bollywood wax figures had arrived in New York temporarily. So yeah! Katrina hasn't got another wax statue to herself by Madame Tussauds but it is the old one facing new fury!
