Kareena Shares 'Tom & Jerry' Clip To Remind Fans About COVID-19 Vaccination, Reveals What She Told Taimur About Current Crisis
Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor shared a quirky video to request her fans to register for the COVID-19 vaccination drive in order to 'break the chain'.
The Coronavirus pandemic has severely affected the functioning of many countries of the world. The state governments have imposed strict restrictions as India is grappling with the COVID-19 crisis. Many Bollywood celebs including Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn and Sonu Sood have come forward to lend a helping hand during the tough times. The Indian government is all set to roll out the extended COVID-19 vaccination drive from May 1 to combat the further spread of the virus.
Kareena Kapoor Khan shared a clip from an episode of 'Tom & Jerry' to remind fans about the importance of COVID-19 vaccination. She revealed that she even talked about it with her elder son Taimur Ali Khan. Bebo stressed on the importance of helping the frontline workers by staying patient and registering for the vaccination drive.
"We don’t realise that our kids are also absorbing what’s going on and they are scared too. We were talking to Tim to try and explain why all the adults need to be vaccinated and I think this sums it up pretty well. It’s really that simple. But like we explain to our kids, we too need to be patient and help everyone who is trying to help us — medics, pharma, authorities and the millions of volunteers — please register and wait for your turn," Kareena wrote. Kareena's cousin Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and sister-in-law Saba Ali Khan dropped comments on the post. Saba wrote, "Beautifully expressed. Stay safe."
Yesterday, the 'Good Newwz' actress requested her fans to not violate the COVID-19 guidelines. She asked the netizens to wear the face mask properly as a precautionary measure against the virus.
Kareena and Saif welcomed their second child, a baby boy, on February 21, 2021. The couple is yet to reveal the name of their newborn son. Saifeena, as fondly called by fans, shifted to their new abode before the arrival of their little munchkin.
On the work front, Kareena will be next seen in Aamir Khan's 'Laal Singh Chaddha'. The movie is expected to hit the silver screens in December 2021.
