Karan Johar To Take Legal Action Against Online Threats Directed Towards His Kids And Mother: Reports

Karan Johar has reportedly hired a team of lawyers and tech experts to track down the threats against his family.

New Delhi: The death of Sushant Singh Rajput has laid bare many controversies in the Bollywood industry. Many Bollywood biggies have been made the target for his alleged suicide. Amongst them are Karan Johar, Aditya Chopra, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and others. They have been accused of banning the ‘Dil Bechara’ actor from their production banners. Karan Johar has been receiving a lot of hatred from the people and is being accused of giving way to ‘nepotism’ and star kids. Some of the social media users have dragged his family including his mother and children and they also fell prey to their hatred. A team of lawyers, as well as online tech experts, have come together to see this through. The tech people in the team are tracking the social media handles that are trying to intimidate him through violence. They want to unearth these accounts, fake and real and submit the evidence to the relevant authorities. The comments got out of hand when people started to threaten physical harm and abuse to his children and gave rape threats against his mother," one of Karan's close aide told DNA. After Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, the filmmaker has been maintaining a very low profile and has unfollowed many people from the film industry. Reportedly, he has also resigned from the board of MAMI Mumbai Film Festival post the controversies against him after the ‘Chhichhore’ actor’s death.
