Filmmaker Karan Johar is constantly crying and asking what he has done to deserve the brutal hatred he's been receiving on social media.
Filmmaker Karan Johar has been facing the wrath of netizens for over three weeks now, ever since the tragic death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The late actor’s death has sparked a new debate on insider vs outsider along with nepotism in Bollywood.
And many star-kids along with Karan Johar are on the target on angry fans on social media who thinks Sushant took his own life as he was not getting his fair share in the industry due to the prevailing nepotism.
The savage criticism that Karan Johar received for being the face of nepotism has taken a serious toll on Karan’s health. Though the filmmaker has maintained a silence on the issue, his close filmmaker friend recently opened up about his condition which is not so good, owing to the brutal criticism he’s been facing. While speaking to Bollywood Hungama he said,"Karan is a broken man. After being trolled for years he thought he had developed a thick skin. But the brutal hatred that he has received after Sushant’s death has left him shattered.” “Karan is in no condition to speak. The fight has gone out of him. He looks like a man beaten by fate. It’s not a pleasant experience to speak to Karan. He breaks down and cries when we call him. He is constantly crying and asking what he has done to deserve this." Johar’s friend added further that, “It’s the fact that those close to him are being attacked that makes Karan feel really guilty. His 3-year old twins are getting death threats. Somebody like Ananya Pandey who has no connection with Sushant had a hater on the social media.
