Karan Johar Shares First Look Poster Of Ranveer Singh And Alia Bhatt From Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani

Karan Johar unveiled the first poster for the upcoming film 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani'.

New Delhi: The much-awaited movie 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani'—Karan Johar's seventh directorial—will be released on July 28. On his 51st birthday, the director unveiled the first posters for the upcoming film. 

Karan Johar took to his social media handle to unveil the first look poster of Rocky played by Ranveer Singh and Rani portrayed by Alia Bhatt. "An absolute ‘heartthrob’, who wears his own heart on his sleeve - meet Rocky," he wrote.

On Wednesday, Karan Johar unveiled a behind-the-scenes video from his upcoming film to mark his 25 years in Bollywood. 

Karan captioned the post, "Nothing but gratitude for the magical 25 years I have spent in the director’s chair. I learnt, I grew, I wept, I laughed - I lived. And tomorrow, another piece of my heart will be yours to see and I could not be more ecstatic as I celebrate my birthday with you all. With a kahaani (story) that has prem (love) written all over it. See you tomorrow! #RockyAurRaniKiiPremKahaani first look out tomorrow! In cinemas 28th July."

In the video, he showcased clips from some of his most popular films, including 'Student of the Year', 'My Name Is Khan', 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham', and 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai'.

'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' also stars Shabana Azmi, Jaya Bachchan, and Dharmendra in major roles in addition to Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh. After a seven-year hiatus, Karan, who made his directorial debut with the box office hit 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' in 1998, is back in the director's chair.
