'Eternally Grateful To Play War Hero': Kangana Ranaut Wraps Up Shoot Of Tejas, Shares Video

Kangana Ranaut penned a heartfelt post after wrapping up the shoot of 'Tejas'.

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, who will be seen playing the role of an Indian Air Force officer in ‘Tejas’, has wrapped up the shoot of the film on Saturday (October 30). The ‘Panga’ star took to social media to share a video to inform her fans that ‘Tejas’ will hit the silver screens in 2022. 

Kangana expressed her gratitude towards the makers and said that she is grateful for playing a war hero in the film. She wrote, “Another beautiful journey comes to an end. It’s a wrap for Tejas. What a ride. Above all what an opportunity. This will make the entire Nation proud. Thank you @sarveshmewara for choosing me. Thank you @rsvpmovies Ronnie sir for believing in me. Thanks to everyone who worked on this project … eternally grateful for getting to play a soldier a war hero in this lifetime. Jai Hind. See you in the cinemas in 2022.” 

The ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ actres also said that ‘Tejas’ would make the entire country proud. Check out her post! 

Kangana was recently bestowed with the award for Best Actress at the recently held National Film Awards. She shared photos with her parents after winning the award on Instagram. The 'Fashion' star wrote, "We all grow up with a deep desire to be worthy of our parents love, care and sacrifices. After all the troubles I give my mummy papa such days seem to make up for all those mischiefs. Thank you for being my mummy papa I wouldn’t want it any other way."

Kangana Ranaut’s Upcoming Films 

On the professional front, the ‘Queen’ star was recently seen in ‘Thalaivii’. The biographical drama based on the life of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa released on September 10. Despite receiving positive reviews, the film couldn’t set the box office on fire due to multiple reasons. 

The Hindi version of ‘Thalaivii’ performed quite well upon its digital release on Netflix. The movie co-starring Arvind Swami was directed by A.L. Vijay. 

Kangana also has ‘Dhaakad’, ‘The Incarnation: Sita’ and ‘Manikarnika Returns’ in her kitty. ‘Dhaakad’ will hit the silver screens on April 8 next year.
