Kangana Ranaut Responds To Javed Akhtar’s Defamation Case Against Her; Here’s What She Said

New Delhi: Kangana Ranaut is currently enjoying her brother Aksht’s pre-wedding festivities back at her home in Manali. Recently the ‘Queen’ actress and her sister rangoli Chandel has been summoned by Mumbai Police to appear before them on November 10. Before this news could dissolve, another news of celebrated lyricist Javed Akhtar filing a case against Kangana Ranaut made to the headlines. The actress has been accused of making defamatory statements against him on national and international television. Kangana Ranaut & Sister Rangoli Summoned By Mumbai Police On November 10 Over Controversial Social Media Post The ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ actress finally responded to Javed Akhtar’s defamation case. She took to her Twitter account and retweeted Sanjay Raut’s tweet which read, “Lyricist Javed Akhtar files criminal complaint against Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut for making defamatory statements on national and international television. The complaint has been filed before the Metropolitan Magistrate at Andheri, Mumbai” To which, the ‘Rangoon’ actress replied, “एक थी शेरनी ..... और एक भेड़ियों का झुंड । (There was a lioness…..then there was a flock of wolves).”
Kangana Ranaut once told Republic TV, “Once Javed Akhtar had called me to his house and told me that Rakesh Roshan and his family are very big people. If you don’t apologise to them, you will have nowhere to go. They will put you in jail, and eventually, the only path would be that of destruction…you will commit suicide. These were his words.
