Kangana Ranaut-Rajkummar Rao FINALISED as lead pair for Anurag Basu’s Imli?
Bollywood’s ‘Queen’ Kangana Ranaut, who debuted in Hindi films with Anurag Basu’s ‘Gangster’, is all set to reunite with the director for his next project. The film which is titled Imli is said to be a love story and will see the ‘Simran’actress working with ‘Jagga Jasoos’ director after eight long years. A report in a leading daily has suggested that Basu has finalised Rajkummar Rao as the male lead to star opposite Kangana Ranaut.
The two amazingly talented actors have worked together in Vikas Bahl’s Queen and are currently busy shooting for ‘Mental Hai Kya’ in London.
Rajkummar Rao, who was last seen in'Omerta', will be working with Anurag Basu for the very first time in his career. "Rajkummar has been signed for the film opposite Kangana. This is his first film with Basu. He is very excited to work with him, as it was always his dream to be a part of an Anurag Basu movie. Raj also happens to be a fan of love stories, so that makes this all the more special,’’ a source close to the project told Times Of India. The team of the upcoming film is expected to begin shoot in November, the report said. Those were just baseless rumours,” the source was quoted as saying by Times Of India. Kangana and Rajkummar’s pairing seem to become a hit with not just the movie buffs but also B-town’s filmmakers, isn’t it?
