Kangana Ranaut Starrer Tejas Box Office Day 1 Estimate: Film To Collect Less Than Rs. 1 Cr

Kangana Ranaut starrer 'Tejas' released in theatres on Friday, October 27, 2023.

New Delhi: Kangana Ranaut starrer 'Tejas' released in theatres on Friday, October 27, 2023. As the film opened to mixed reviews, its box office is also likely to be affected. In the film, Kangana plays the role of an IAF fighter pilot.

As per a Times Now report, 'Tejas' has failed to sell even 5000 tickets across national multiple chains. The report stated that the film sold just about 3000 tickets across PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis theatre chains.

As per trade analysis site, Sacnilk.com, 'Tejas' is expected to earn 0.5 cr India net on its opening day. In the morning shows, the occupancy has been 4.18%, 0% in afternoon shows, 0% in evening shows and 0% in night shows.

'Tejas' will have to sell more tickets to at least reach the Rs. 1 cr mark on Day 1.

In other news, Kangana Ranaut had visited Ram Temple in Ayodhya to seek the blessings of her upcoming film.

In the film, the temple holds prime importance in 'Tejas. Ranaut has on numerous occasions signified the importance of the temple in the storyline of the Sarvesh Mewara directorial.

As per our in-house review, "Tejas is the story of an air force pilot whose heart is throbbing with patriotism and who is willing to go against all odds for her nation. While this point forms the crux of the storyline, it is also what makes the film boring and unbelievable in parts.

"Kangana Ranaut's film can be watched for its aerial sequences, Anshul Chauhan's performance and Kangana's stunner look in a uniform barring the dialogues and the storyline. It is a patriotic film that evokes no emotions at all." The reviewer added.

Twitter reviews about the film are majorly in the negative light while loyal Kangana fans have loved the film.
