Kangana Ranaut Announces Release Date Of 'Dhaakad', Promises To Set Big Screens On Fire

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is all set to entertain the audience with her much-awaited spy thriller ‘Dhaakad’. The National Award-winning artist took to social media to reveal the release date of her film. Movie buffs have been eagerly waiting for ‘Dhaakad’ ever since it was announced that Kangana would be seen in the role of a spy. 

‘Dhaakad’ Release Date 

Kangana shared a post on her official Instagram handle to inform her fans that ‘Dhaakad’ will hit the silver screens on April 8, 2022. She shared a collage poster featuring her different looks from the highly-anticipated flick.  The 'Queen' star wrote, "She is fierce, feisty and fearless. #AgentAgni is all geared up to set the big screen on fire. Bringing to you the action spy thriller #Dhaakad that will hit theatres on 8 April 2022!"

'Dhaakad' was originally supposed to release in October 2021; however, it got delayed as cinema halls in Maharashtra were not operating. 

What Kangana Said About Dhaakad?

The 'Manikarnika' actress issued a statement to announce the release date of 'Dhaakad'. She said that her new film is meant for viewing in the theatres.

“Dhaakad is the kind of film that’s best relished on the big screens. It’s a deeply stirring subject and we have made it on a scale that only theatres could do justice to. The layered story at the heart of it needs to reach out to the masses and I am certain, the film will speak to women across the board. I can’t wait for the audience to meet Agent Agni on April 8," Ranaut said in a statement.

'Dhaakad' Cast

While Kangana will be seen as Agent Agni, Arjun Rampal is playing the main villain in the action entertainer. Divya Dutta is also playing a pivotal role in the movie.

Arjun announced the release date by sharing a long note that read, "Glad to announce the release date of #Dhaakad on my brothers @razylivingtheblues and @deepakmukut birthday. Happy birthday guys, have a super time tonight and congratulations. Bringing to you India’s first female-led international spy-thriller that will have you hanging by the edge of your seat!
