‘Kai Po Che!’ Actor Amit Sadh Opens Up On How Sushant Singh Rajput’s Death Has Changed The Industry

Amit Sadh said that if one is not affected by the loss of SSR, then that person should not be telling stories and make movies about human beings.

New Delhi: The untimely death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput left the world in a state of shock. His family, friends, and fans are still finding it difficult to come to terms with the loss. Many people from the film fraternity have also been fighting for his justice along with his loved ones and fans. IN PICS: SSR, Irrfan, Rishi Kapoor And Now Asif Basra, List Of Bollywood Celebrities Who Passed Away In 2020 Recently, Amit Sadh, who shared the screen space with Sushant in his debut movie ‘Kai Po Che!’ opened up on how the untimely demise of the ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy’ star has changed the world and the industry. While speaking to Filmfare, he shared a strange incident when the sequence number on his boarding pass for his flight from Kullu to Delhi was ‘SSR’. He added, “I just couldn’t get it and I said, only I had to get this.” Reminiscing the late actor, Amit told the publication, “I think Sushant taught us a lesson. He has opened our eyes.” Elaborating on how the world and the industry have changed post his demise and also due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the ‘Shakuntala Devi’ actor said that if one is not affected by the death of a human being, then that person should not be telling stories and make movies about human beings. Sadh was quoted saying by the publication, “The world has changed with Coronavirus, of course, the industry will also change or has been affected with the way we have lost Sushant. And I hope you are affected by it because if you are not then we are not humans. And if you're not human beings then we should not be telling stories about human beings and making movies. I just hope that an incident like this is not repeated.” On the professional front, Amit Sadh was last seen in ‘Shakuntala Devi’, 'Breathe Into The Shadows' and ‘Yaara’.
