Ace tennis player and India's pride Sania Mirza who's also pregnant with her first child with Pakistani cricketer husband Sohaib Malik just lashed out at a Twitter user who wished her a Happy Independence Day today i.e. 14th August instead of tomorrow on 15th August taking a jibe at her questioning her nationality. The sports icon did not take it lightly and chose to reply back with a strong message that read - "Jee nahi.. mera aur mere country ka Independence Day kal hai, aur mere husband aur unnki country ka aaj!! Hope your confusion is cleared !!Waise aapka kab hai?? Since you seem very confused ..".
The Twitter user by the handle @imsamkhiladi and name on his profile 'Romeo Gold 2.0' today in the afternoon had tweeted to Sania, “Happy Independence Day @MirzaSania.. aapka independence day aaj hi hai na (Your Independence Day must be today..right!).”
While the troll deleted his tweet (or made it unavailable by protecting his tweets), Sania soon after, posted another tweet wishing her pakistani fans on their Independence Day. "Happy Independence Day to my Pakistani fans and friends !! best wishes and love from your Indian Bhabi," she tweeted.Jee nahi.. mera aur mere country ka Independence Day kal hai, aur mere husband aur unnki country ka aaj!! More PICS: 7-months PREGNANT Sania Mirza does a maternity photoshoot flaunting her baby bump! Sania has been facing a lot of bashing ever since she married the Pak cricketer 8 years ago on 12th April, 2010 but she has always stood strong and took trolls head on. Recently on her 8th Wedding Anniversary when Sania was trolled for raising a national issue by voicing her concern over the rape of an 8 year old in Kathua region of Jammu & Kashmir, a follower wrote to her that she should not be commenting on India's problems, since "you are no longer an Indian and married into Pakistan". His tweet read - "With all respect madam which country are you talking abt.Last time I checked u had married into Pakistan. You no longer are an Indian. And if u must tweet thn also tweet for the innocents killed by Pak terror outfits.." Sania hit back at him saying: "First of all nobody marries 'into' anywhere .. you marry a person! Secondly NO LOW LIFE like you will tell me which country I belong to. I play for India, I am Indian and always will be.. nd maybe if u look beyond religion and country one day you may just also stand for humanity! (sic)". And in the latest, which is today, the Indian sports star has yet again shut a troll and that's a good start to the 72nd Independence Day.View this post on Instagram
