IIFA Awards 2018: Ayushmann Khurrana GOOFS up, calls Shraddha Kapoor as Alia Bhatt

New Delhi: IIFA Awards 2018, which were held on Sunday in Bangkok, proved to be a star-studded affair as the gen-next of Bollywood including Varun Dhawan, Ranbir Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor and Ayushmann Khurrana added charm to the event. Althought several leading names like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt chose to give the event a skip, the awards managed to become the talk of the town. Ayushmann Khurrana and Karthik Aaryan were the hosts for the night and they ensured everyone had a gala time with their camaraderie. However, the Shubh Mangalam Savdhan actor had an embrassing moment while hosting as he addressed Shraddha Kapoor as Alia Bhatt by mistake. Although, it got embrassing for everyone present at the awards show, Shraddha saved the day for him and burst into loud laughter. The Vicky Donor actor is said to have instantly realise his mistake and he remained silent for two minutes, the leading daily reported. Shraddha laughed at the joke and ensured Ayushmann join her in the hearty laugh as well. It was so sweet of Shraddha Kapoor, isn’t it? Talking about the acts at the awards, it was veteran actress Rekha, who stole the limelight from others with her beautiful performance.
