Jazzy B Slams Akshay Kumar Over His 'India Against Propaganda' Tweet, Calls Him 'Fake King'

Punjabi singer lashed out at Akshay Kumar and said that the farmers protesting against the farm laws are the 'real kings'.

Pop star Rihanna has been making headlines ever since she posted a tweet on the farmers’ protest in India. The ‘We Found Love’ singer became the first global celebrity to extend support to the farmers, who are protesting against the farm laws. Several Bollywood celebs including Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Ekta Kapoor, Karan Johar shared posts on social media and asked their fans to not ‘fall for any false propaganda’ against the Indian policies.

Akshay Kumar retweeted Ministry of External Affairs’ official statement and requested his followers to support an ‘amicable resolution’ and not pay attention to someone who creates differences.

“Farmers constitute an extremely important part of our country. And the efforts being undertaken to resolve their issues are evident. Let’s support an amicable resolution, rather than paying attention to anyone creating differences,” the ‘Good Newwz’ actor wrote on the micro-blogging site.

Akshay’s post received over 28k retweets and 99k likes. Khiladi Kumar trended on social media after he tweeted in favour of the government.

Punjabi playback singer Jazzy B expressed his displeasure over Akshay’s ‘India against propaganda’ tweet. He slammed the ‘PadMan’ actor, calling him a ‘Fake King’ on Twitter.

The ‘Jugni’ singer said that the farmers protesting against the farm laws are the ‘real kings’, referring to Akshay’s film ‘Singh Is Kinng’. He questioned why he didn’t post a single tweet when the farmers were protesting peacefully.

“Waw Ji waw Bhaji huni tweet kar rahe ney ! 2 months kisan peaceful protest tey baithe see thuade kolo ik tweet ni hoia tey upro propoganda Das dey oh you ain’t Singh is king the real kings are sitting in protest! Fake king. (Wow brother is tweeting only now! Farmers had been peacefully protesting for 2 months, at that time you couldn't do a single tweet and in fact, you are now calling it propaganda. You aren’t Singh is King,” Jazzy B tweeted.

Bollywood actor Siddharth posted a cryptic tweet on Twitter after several celebs asked their followers to not pay attention to people, who are trying to create differences. “Choose your heroes wisely or watch them fall from grace. Education, empathy, honesty and a little spine could have saved the day. Alas,” the ‘Rang De Basanti’ actor wrote on the micro-blogging site.

He further tweeted, “When powerful people who never take a stand, all suddenly sing the same tune in an orchestrated effort and just tow the line they are told to like pawns, that's what propaganda is all about. Know your #propaganda.”
