Farhan Akhtar & Shibani Dandekar To Get MARRIED After 'Toofan' Release? Here's The Truth!

New Delhi: Bollywood couple Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar are busy painting the town red with their love. Gossip mills are buzzing with the rumours that the two lovebirds will tie the knot this year. It is being said that Farhan and Shibani are planning to take their relationship to the next level. A report in a leading daily suggested that wedding would take place in 2020 after the release of 'Toofan'. The buzz around Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar’s wedding gained momentum after Javed Akhtar’s comment. The veteran lyricist told Times Of India, "I have just heard it from you. I was with Farhan on his birthday, which was the day before yesterday. He didn't tell me anything about this. But you never know, children can be very secretive." According to a report in an entertainment portal, Farhan and Shibani have no plans of getting hitched. The couple is currently busy with their respective projects. “Farhan and Shibani Dandekar are happy as a couple. She is pursuing her singing career while he’s very busy with his acting career. They have no desire need or pressing reason to make their relationship official or legal. So no announcements, wedding or otherwise. At least not in the near future and certainly not in 2020,” a source close to Farhan Akhtar told Bollywood Hungama. Amidst, the rumours of their wedding, Farhan shared a picture with his ladylove along with the caption, "When a picture says it all."

Farhan was previously married to celebrity hairstylist Adhuna Bhabani. The former couple has two daughters, Shakya and Akira. They announced their separation in 2016 after 16 years of marriage. On the professional front, Farhan Akhtar was last seen in ‘The Sky Is Pink’ opposite Priyanka Chopra. He is currently busy shooting for ‘Toofan’, in which he will play a boxer.
