'Fanney Khan' trailer gets a thumbs up: Twitterati in awe of Aishwarya- Rajkummar’s ‘SUPER’ chemistry!

New Delhi: The trailer of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao and Anil Kapoor starrer Fanney Khan has taken the internet by a storm. After generating maximum buzz with back to back posters, the makers of the film unveiled the amazing trailer on Friday. The Atul Manjrekar directorial promises to bring the story of a father (Kapoor), who is ready to go to any extent to showcase his daughter’s singing talent to the rest of the world. Fanney Khan’s trailer is loaded by hilarious one-liners and promises to take the audience on a fun ride. Anil Kapoor’s character in the film seeks help from his friend (Rajkummar Rao) to kidnap the pop sensation Baby Singh aka Aishwarya. Aishwarya and Rajkummar’s chemistry is evident in the two minutes 41 seconds video and fans have given a thumbs up to the terrific casting by the makers. The two actors have been paired for the very first time on the big screen and hence movie buffs are excited to see them together.  Another fan commented on her Instagram page that Aishwarya and Rajkummar Rao's pairing is awesome and he loved it. Pihu Sand, who plays the role of Anil Kapoor's daughter Lata Sharma, has also received applauds from the audience.

Fanney Khan, which is the official remake of the Belgian movie-Everybody's Famous, hits the silver screens on August 3. The film emphasizes on the saying that ‘Dreams never die’ and also takes a dig at body shaming. The film has reunited Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai after a long gap of 17 years. The two actors were last seen together in Subhash Ghai’s film Taal.
