Fan Tells Abhishek Bachchan To Let Aishwarya Rai Sign More Movies, Actor Reacts
Abhishek Bachchan shared his thoughts on Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer 'Ponniyin Selvan 2'.
New Delhi: Abhishek Bachchan shared his thoughts on Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer 'Ponniyin Selvan 2' on Twitter. Aishwarya, his wife and an actor, plays the lead role in Mani Ratnam's movie.
While Abhishek praised Aishwarya for her performance in the film, someone advised him to 'let' her sign more films and take care of their daughter Aaradhya himself. For them, the actor had a clear answer.
Sharing his thought on Ponniyin Selvan 2, Abhishek wrote, “#PS2 is simply FANTASTIC!!! At a loss for words right now. So overwhelmed. Well done to the entire team #ManiRatnam @chiyaan @trishtrashers @actor_jayamravi @Karthi_Offl and the rest of the cast and crew. And so, so proud of the Mrs. Her best by far,” he wrote.
A Twitter user responded to it and wrote, “As you should! Now let her sign more movies and you take care of Aaradhya.”
“Let her sign??? Sir, she certainly doesn’t need my permission to do anything. Especially something she loves,” Abhishek replied.

The film review on ABP Live reads: “The film has put itself in a separate league where the drama takes centre stage as opposed to flashy action sequences, despite the internet drawing parallels to the epic 'Baahubali'. The only time we see swords clashing and a gory battlefield is during the final moments, but the political drama keeps you glued every step of the way. 'Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2' is one of the rare sequels that not only lives up to, but much exceeds, the expectations spawned by the first part.”
Part two of Mani Ratnam's epic is titled 'Ponniyin Selvan 2'. The five-part novel series with the same title by Kalki Krishnamurthy was adapted for the screen.
Abhishek and Aishwarya got married in 2007. The Bollywood couple has starred in many movies together including 'Guru', 'Dhoom 2', and 'Raavan'.
