Dil Bechara Premiere: Sara Ali Khan Reveals What Her Dad Saif & Sushant Singh Rajput Had In Common

Sara Ali Khan shared a post on social media to celebrate the premiere of Sushant Singh Rajput's last film 'Dil Bechara'.

New Delhi: Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s much-awaited film ‘Dil Bechara’ has finally released on Disney+ Hotstar. The romantic drama has been making waves ever since the makers unveiled the film’s trailer. ‘Dil Bechara’ trailer become the most liked trailer within 24 hours of release with over 4.8 million likes. Several Bollywood celebs including Rajkummar Rao, Anushka Sharma, Shraddha Kapoor have shared posts for the movie on social media. The star kid, who made her Bollywood debut opposite Sushant in Kedarnath’, posted pictures of her dad Saif Ali Khan and SSR on Instagram. She also revealed what the two had in common. For the uninitiated, Saif is playing a cameo role in ‘Dil Bechara’. “The only two gentlemen that have spoken to me about Sartre, Van Gogh, telescopes and constellations, guitars, The Northern Lights, cricket, Pink Floyd, Nusrat Saab and acting techniques. This is to the last thing you two have in common- #DilBechara.  Now on Disney Hotstar!,” Sara wrote. The ‘Simmba’ actress also posted a picture of Sushant, Saif and film’s director Mukesh Chhabra and Sanjana Sanghi. She addressed the two as 'gentlemen' and said that they talked about telescopes, constellations, cricket and guitar. (Swipe to see the photos)
Sushant and Sara's 'Kedarnath', which released in 2018, did a good job at the box office. The 'Love Aaj Kal' actress had shared a picture with her first co-star after his demise.
'Dil Bechara' is the Hindi adaptation of John Green's novel 'The Fault in our Stars'. Casting director Mukesh Chhabra has made his directorial debut with the film. Talking about Sara Ali Khan, the actress will be next seen in 'Coolie No.1'. The film co-starring Varun Dhawan was slated to hit the silver screens in May 2020. However, the comedy drama couldn't release on its scheduled date due to the COVID-19 crisis.  The makers are yet to announce a new release date. Watch this space for more updates!
