Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, who was last seen in ‘Chhapaak’, welcomed the weekend with a cute picture on social media. The ‘Piku’ star set the ‘weekend mood’ by posting a snap on her official Instagram handle. The leggy lass can be seen flashing her million dollar smile while striking a pose for the camera. She donned a grey hoodie and sported glasses and looked adorable.

Deepika’s hubby Ranveer Singh dropped a comment on her latest Instagram picture. He couldn’t help but mention how his wifey gave ‘Naina Talwar’ vibes in the picture. For the uninitiated, Deepika played the role of a Naina Talwar, a medical student, opposite Ranbir Kapoor in ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’.

Deepika recently called out a user, who abused her on Facebook. She shared a post on her Insta story to give a befitting reply to one troll, who sent her abusive messages. DP wrote, “Wow! Your family & friends must be soo proud of you.”
DP grabbed eyeballs when she deleted all her posts from Twitter, Instagram and Facebook ahead of New Year. She shared her audio diary after removing all her social media posts.

On the professional front, Deepika and Ranveer will be seen together in Kabir Khan’s ‘83’. The sports drama, which also stars Boman Irani, Amy Virk and Pankaj Tripathi, was slated to hit the silver screens in April 2020. However, the makers had to delay the release of the much-awaited flick due to COVID-19 crisis. The film is based on India’s 1983 Cricket World Cup victory.
Talking about Ranvir, he also has ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ and ‘Circkus’ in pipeline. ‘Cirkus’ also features Jacqueline Fernandez and Pooja Hegde in lead roles.
Deepika has several exciting projects in her kitty including Shakun Batra’s next, ‘Fighter’ and Nag Ashwin’s upcoming film. She will be seen sharing screen-space with Hrithik Roshan in ‘Fighter’.
