New Delhi: Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor was spotted riding an electric bike outside Kapoor's bungalow in Mumbai on Thursday morning (October 8). The 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' star and his mother Neetu Singh were snapped by the paparazzi outside their old family home where construction work is going on. Ranbir's foldable electric bike piqued curiously among the fans after his pictures went viral on social media. The fancy bike that Ranbir drove around the roads of Mumbai is a MATE X electric foldable bike. According to a report by GQ Magazine, the bike is priced at Rs 1,46,500 approximately. Woah, this sum of money is enough for a perfect trip to Malaysia or Thailand, isn't it?
Ranbir Kapoor's MATE X electric foldable bike has been designed and built by a company based in Copenhagen, Denmark. The official website has listed all the features of the eco-friendly bike. As suggested by the name, the MATE X can be folded in three easy steps. "It folds down to a very compact 78 cm high, 103 cm long, 59 cm wide so you can bring it along anywhere," the content on the website read. One can take the bike while travelling on a train or even toss it in a car. The feature of portability is like cherry on the cake, isn't it? The bike has been designed in such a way that it can adjust according to the rider's body and his/her riding style. It can easily fit anyone. All you need to is adjust the saddle and handlebar height according to your measurements. The website also said that MATE X foldable electric bike also features a full color LCD display, protection aluminum fenders, sturdy rear rack, front / rear lights and Plug and play wiring system. The combination of 1000w motor and Hi-torque 48V battery promise to tackle all the weather and terrain conditions.
Last month, Ranbir Kapoor celebrated his 38th birthday with his girlfriend Alia Bhatt, Neetu Singh and sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni. Some reports suggested that Alia gifted her beau the fancy set of wheels on his birthday.
