Coronavirus: Kanika Kapoor Triggers Meme Fest On Social Media After Getting Discharged From Hospital

Singer Kanika Kapoor, the first Coronavirus positive Bollywood celebrity, has been finally discharged & the news has invited meme fest on social media for trollers.

New Delhi: Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor who was admitted to Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS) in her hometown Lucknow after contracting the coronavirus, has been discharged following her complete recovery on Monday. The 42-year-old ‘Baby doll’ fame singer tested negative in her sixth test at the hospital and she will now be in home quarantine for two weeks. Kanika, who had tested positive for COVID-19 in the first four attempts, had tested negative in the fifth but the doctors wanted to keep be sure and therefore they did another test and waited for a few days before discharging her from the hospital. Kapoor was hospitalised on 20th March and now that she has been finally discharged from the hospital, the news has become the talk of the town and also invited meme fest on social media for online trolls. Kanika is the first Bollywood celebrity to be tested positive with the novel coronavirus. She was diagnosed with COVID-19, days after she flew into Mumbai from London on March 9.
