Ranveer Singh will play a dual role in the movie, and the posters showed both of his characters. Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors, which has been turned into Bollywood comedy flicks like 'Angoor' and 'Do Dooni Chaar', served as the inspiration for 'Cirkus'.

According to Bollywood Hungama, at a big ceremony on December 2 in Mumbai, makers of 'Cirkus' plan to reveal the trailer. "Like all Rohit Shetty films, the trailer launch will be followed by the launch of two big songs and finally a release on December 23,” reports suggest.

Following their work together on 'Simmba', Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty have teamed together once more on the offbeat comedy movie.

The comedy film is produced by Reliance Entertainment, T-Series, and Rohit Shetty Picturez and helmed by Rohit Shetty. Along with Ranveer Singh, the movie also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Pooja Hegde, Johnny Lever, Varun Sharma, and several other prominent actors. 'Cirkus' is slated to hit the big screens on December 23.
