Karan Johar has officially announced his upcoming film, 'Chand Mera Dil', featuring Lakshya and Ananya as the leads.
Lakshya made his first move into Bollywood in 2019 when he signed a three-film deal with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. His debut was supposed to be in the highly-anticipated 'Dostana 2', alongside Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor, but we all know how that turned out.

Later, he was cast in 'Bedhadak' with newcomer Shanaya Kapoor, but that project also got shelved. However, Lakshya's fortunes changed dramatically when he finally made his debut this year with 'Kill', a blockbuster hit that proved to be worth the wait. Although his on-screen pairing with Shanaya didn’t come to fruition, he is now set to star opposite her childhood best friend, Ananya Panday.
That's right! After teasing fans on social media yesterday, Karan Johar has officially announced his upcoming film, 'Chand Mera Dil', featuring Lakshya and Ananya as the leads. This passionate love story promises to be a cinematic treat that embodies ‘Pyar… Ishq… Mohabbat’.
The first look was revealed through adorable posters shared by the team, showcasing Ananya and Lakshya as lovers immersed in their own fairytale world. The caption read: “We have two chands ready to bring an intense & passionate love story like no other!!!🌙 Pyaar mein thoda paagal hona hi padta hai.."
