Brahmastra: WWE wrestler Saurav Gurjar to make his Bollywood debut with Ranbir Kapoor & Alia Bhatt’s film

New Delhi: Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Brahmastra’ is one of the most-awaited films of 2019. The Ayan Mukerji directorial has been making waves ever since the project was announced by Karan Johar. Fans have been eagerly waiting to see the on-screen chemistry of real life lovebirds Ranbir and Alia. The makers of the film have roped in WWE wrestler Saurav Gurjar to play a negative role in ‘Brahmastra’. For the uninitiated, Saurav shot to fame after play the role of Bheem in Star Plus’ ‘Mahabharat’ in 2013. The ‘Sankatmochan Mahabali Hanuman’ actor signed a contract with WWE in 2018 and he is working hard to fulfill his dreams of being a professional wrestler. Brahmastra: WWE wrestler Saurav Gurjar to make his Bollywood debut with Ranbir Kapoor & Alia Bhatt’s film (Saurav as Bheem in Mahabharat) Saurav, while talking to a leading daily, confirmed he has action scenes with the star cast of ‘Brahmastra’. ‘’I am playing a negative character in Brahmastra. The film is quite action-packed and I am doing all my moves. I have action scenes with Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the film," Saurav Gurjar told DNA.

Saurav, who has a significant fan following on Instagram, also shared his experience of working with Ranbir and Big B. "Ranbir is very good-natured. He keeps asking me who is helping me train and how I do my moves or how wrestlers like Undertaker did their moves," the wrestler told the daily.

Interestingly, Saurav had to punch Amitabh Bachchan in his very first scene with the veteran actor. "I have been very fortunate to work with Mr. Bachchan. However, in my first scene with him, I had to punch him. I was a little nervous. Then he said to me- you are a real wrestler, please don't break my nose. I got very nervous after that," Gurjar further told the daily.

‘Brahmastra’, which also stars Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy, will hit the silver screens in December 2019. Speculations are rife that Mouni will also play a negative role in the film.
