Bollywood Drugs Case: After Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor Reaches NCB Office To Join The Investigation

Mumbai: While investigating the death case of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, the ‘drug angle’ emerged in the case. The NCB has launched a massive crackdown against the use of banned drugs in Bollywood and has interrogated Rakul Preet Singh and Deepika Padukone’s talent manager Karishma Prakash on September 25. So far, the NCB had questioned Rhea Chakraborty, Showik Chakraborty, Shruti Modi, Sushant's talent manager Jaya Saha, Kwan talent management agency CEO Dhruv Chitgopekar, 'Udta Punjab' Producer Madhu Mantena Varma among several others. Deepika Padukone reached the NCB’s Special Investigation Team (SIT) office in Mumbai earlier today. Reportedly, the ‘Padmaavat’ actress was first interrogated alone and is currently on a face to face interrogation with her talent manager Karishma Prakash. Karishma has been summoned for the second day by the agency. On the other, actresses Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan will also be questioned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) today. The ‘Stree’ actress has reached the NCB’s zonal office in Mumbai to join the investigation of the drug case related to the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput as she was allegedly present at the success party of ‘Chhichhore’ which took place at the ‘Dil Bechara’ actor’s farmhouse which witnessed the consumption of narcotic substances. The NCB has already arrested Rhea, Showik, Miranda, Sushant Singh Rajput’s personal staff Dipesh Sawant, and 16 others in the case so far. Rhea, Showik, Miranda, and Sawant were in judicial custody. The official said while the alleged chats of Deepika with her manager Prakash discussing drugs in October 2017 brought them into the probe net, Shradhha and Sara's role came to the fore following the questioning of Saha.
