New Delhi: Amid news of Rajkummar Rao getting married to his long-time girlfriend Patralekhaa, his co-star Bhumi Pednekar announced the new release date of their upcoming movie ‘Badhaai Do’. The family drama, which was earlier supposed to hit the screens on Republic Day weekend on 2022, has now been postponed.
Bhumi Pednekar took to her official Instagram handle and announced that the upcoming family drama will now hit the screens on February 4, 2022.
The ‘Raksha Bandhan’ actress took to her social media and wrote, “Badhaai Do will now release in theatres on February 4, 2022! We cannot wait for you to witness this family entertainer on the big screen. See you at the movies!”

‘Badhaai Do’ is the official remake of Ayushmann Khurrana’s 2018 film ‘Badhaai Ho’, which featured Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao in the lead roles. The upcoming family drama has been written by Suman Adhikary and Akshat Ghildial, and has been helmed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni.
