New Delhi: Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma and Indian Cricket team captain Virat Kohli have made it to the list of top 25 global Instagram influencers. The report, which was complied by Hype Auditor, ranked the top thousand Instagram accounts on the basis of their quality of audience and engagement that they can drive to generate awareness or impact the people through their voice. Virat Kohli bagged the number eleven spot in the list of top global Instagram influencers while his wife Anushka Sharma claimed the 24th position. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has over 50 million followers on Instagram, secured the number 17 spot in the list. Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone are the other two Indians, who featured in the list. While Katrina bagged the 43rd position, DP was ranked at number 49, a report in Hindustan Times said. Anushka and Virat, who celebrated their third wedding anniversary on December 11, 2020, enjoy a significant fan following on Instagram. While the Indian Cricket skipper has 83.4 million followers on the platform, the 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' actress has 44.4 million followers.

Both Anushka and Virat have signed multiple brand endorsements on the back of star power. Kohli is shining on the field while his wifey has made a name for herself as a successful producer in the digital space.
