Amitabh Bachchan 'touched' by president's speech at National Awards

New Delhi: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who whas been honoured with the Best Actor Award at the 63rd National Film Awards, says he was humbled and touched as President Pranab Mukherjee mentioned him in his speech. The cine icon took to Twitter on Wednesday morning where he shared that he is "truly touched" by the mention. "Back now 3:54 am from Delhi and National Award! So humbled and touched, for President of India to take my name in his speech!" Amitabh tweeted.

Big B was accompanied with his wife Jaya, son Abhishek, daughter Shweta Nanda and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for the award event. This is not the first time that the "Wazir" star has been conferred with a National Award. Amitabh won the prestigious award thrice for films like "Agneepath", "Black" and "Paa". IANS
