Things did not go well with netizens when they saw Alia and Ranbir heading out for a vacation amid the rising cases of COVID-19 in the country.

New Delhi: Celebrity couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were spotted at the airport leaving for their Maldives vacation together. Both of them recently recovered from COVID-19. The couple was spotted twinning in white outfits as they headed for their much-awaited vacation together.

However, things did not go well with netizens when they saw Alia and Ranbir heading out for a vacation amid the rising cases of COVID-19 in the country. Every day many deaths, lack of oxygen cylinders is being reported due to the rising cases of coronavirus and the ‘Brahmastra’ couple going for a vacation seemed to upset the netizens.

One user wrote, “These guys are travelling to Maldives by escaping the lockdown there movement should be curbed too .” Another user wrote, “Coronavirus Cases are increasing in India and then people like Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will blame a common man for increasing positive cases 😕. They are going to Maldives and then will advise others to stay home.” A user said, “We are in pandemic and people are dying but these people have no shame.” While another user wrote, “Inlogo ke liye no lockdown no corona, sb middle aur low class ke liye h”.

Meanwhile, speaking on the professional front, Ranbir Kapoor was last seen starring in the movie ‘Sanju’, biography of Sanjay Dutt where he portrayed the role of the protagonist. He will be next seen starring in ‘Brahmastra’, ‘Shamshera’, ‘Animal’ and the untitled with Luv Ranjan opposite Shraddha Kapoor.

Alia, on the other hand, will be next seen starring in ‘Darlings’, ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, ‘Brahmastra’ and ‘RRR’.
