Akshay Kumar And Director Amit Rai Begin Brainstorming For 'OMG 3', Film Likely To Go On Floors In 2026

OMG 3: Akshay Kumar is gearing up to take the socially charged courtroom drama franchise forward with a third installment of 'OMG' series.

New Delhi: Following the overwhelming success of 'OMG 2', Bollywood star Akshay Kumar is preparing to release a third installment of the courtroom drama series. The actor is now shooting the last segment of 'Bhooth Bangla', and director Amit Rai recently flew to Kerala to meet with him, according to a report from Pinkvilla. Over their time together, the two spoke extensively about the upcoming movie over the weekend.

According to a source quoted by Pinkvilla, Amit Rai had multiple ideas for OMG 3 (Oh My God 3), and he discussed all the plot points with Akshay Kumar throughout the stay. The duo brainstormed on all the ideas, and also discussed possible new routes that could be taken in OMG 3. The intent is to continue with the most loved franchise, and take the third part on floors in 2026.”

Following in the footsteps of its forerunners, 'OMG 3' will be a courtroom-based social drama that uses humour and passion to address social concerns. With the first film exploring blind faith and 'OMG 2' exploring sex education in India, the series has created a solid tradition.

The source added, “Following the success of OMG and OMG 2, the stakes are high and the makers are keen to make a third part. It is a big responsibility, and hence, they are in no hurry to just rush through the process of OMG 3.”
