After Ranbir Kapoor, 'Gully Boy' Actor Siddhant Chaturvedi Tests Positive For COVID-19

Siddhant Chaturvedi shared a post on social media to confirm that he tested positive for COVID-19.

Siddhant Chaturvedi, who made his Bollywood debut with Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy’, has tested positive for COVID-19. The talented actor took to social media to inform the fans that he was diagnosed with the virus. He thanked his fans for their concern and revealed that he observed self-quarantine at his home after testing positive for Coronavirus.

Chaturvedi also said that he is following all protocols suggested by the doctors. The 27-year-old actor said that he is ‘positive and will tackle the situation head on.’

 “Thank you all for all your concern. Confirming that I have tested positive for COVID-19. I'm feeling fine at this time and self-quarantining at home. I have taken all the precautions and followed all protocols as adviced by the doctors. Being positive and tackling this head on,” Siddhant wrote on his Instagram story.

Bollywood and TV celebs who recently tested COVID positive

Ranbir Kapoor’s mother Neetu Singh shared a post on social media to inform the fans that the ‘Barfi’ star has been diagnosed with Coronavirus. The 'Brahmastra' actor went into self quarantine after testing positive for the virus.

"Thank you for your concern and your good wishes. Ranbir has tested positive for Covid-19. He is on medication and recovering well. He is in self quarantine at home and following all precautions," Neetu shared an update about her son on Instagram.

Bollywood filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Manoj Bajpayee, Ashish Vidyarthi and popular TV actor Neil Bhatt have also tested positive for COVID-19. The makers of ‘Ghum Hain Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’ have decided to introduce a new track as Bhatt won’t be able to shoot with them for few days.

Siddhant Chaturvedi's Upcoming Projects

On the professional front, Siddhant Chaturvedi will be next seen in ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’ opposite Sharvari Wagh. The crime comedy film co-starring Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji will hit the silver screens on April 23, 2021. It will clash with Kangana Ranaut starrer ‘Thalaivi’ at the box office.

Siddhant also has Shakun Batra’s next and ‘Bhoot Police’ in his kitty. He will share screen space with Deepika Padukone and Ananya Panday in Batra's yet-to-be titled flick.
