New Delhi: 'Adipurush' is just two days from release and the excitement around the film release is brimming over. Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Sunny Singh, Saif Ali Khan starrer is one of the biggest films this year and the budget, VFX, trailer launches and pre-release events, everything like the film's scale have been grand.
Adipurush plot
Directed by Om Raut, the film will chronicle the Hindu myth Ramayana and tell the story as per the sensibilities of contemporary audiences. In 'Adirpurush', Prabhas will portray the role of Raghav, Kriti Sanon will essay Janaki, Saif Ali Khan and Lankesh and Sunny Singh will plays Raghav's brother in the film.
Adipurush advance bookings trend
As advance bookings for 'Adipurush' opened on June 13, Sunday, the film has seen a massive scale in the bookings number from across the world. With celebrities promoting the film's release with buying tickets for the underpriviledged, 'Adipurush' is likely to have one of the biggest openings of the year 2023.
Adipurush ticket price
According to reports, many first-day first-shows are selling out completely, with tickets selling for as much as Rs 2,000 in major cities like Delhi and Mumbai. According to a Times Now report, some theatre tickets are selling for Rs 2,000 even for first-day shows. The price of tickets for all shows at Maison PVR in Mumbai is 2000 for Living Room, Luxe, Jio World Drive, and BKC. PVR: Vegas LUXE, Dwarka tickets and PVR Select City Walk (Gold) tickets have already sold out in Delhi.
Adipurush controversy
Om Raut's 'Adipurush' has been courting controversy ever since its teaser released in October 2022. The first teaser with its VFX was a big no-no for audiences and fans seemed disappointed. Many alleged the representation of Lord Hanuman and Raavan's portrayal in the teaser was 'apparent Islamisation'. They criticized and rejected the beard and buzz cut of the demon king, Lankesh, played by Saif Ali Khan.
Later, work on VFX was done with a better quality of visuals as is apparent in the main trailer which was released earlier this yea and the second trailer which was unveiled at the pre-release event.

After its premiere at the Tribeca Festival in the Escape From Tribeca section on June 15, 'Adipurush' will be released on June 16.

Kriti Sanon, who is soon going to be seen playing the character of Janaki in the upcoming film 'Adipurush', took to her social media to urge all adults to take their kids to watch the film.

Adipurush Sells 4.7 Lakh Tickets Already In Advance Booking
Adipurush wants to have a strong beginning. According to the most recent advance booking figures, the Prabhas and Kriti Sanon-starring movie has already sold more than 4.7 lakh seats for its weekend showings. Trade expert Taran Adarsh tweeted information on the advance ticket sales for Adipurush at multiplexes so far and forecasted a "box office tsunami loading." The releasing date of Adipurush is June 16.
