New Delhi: Bollywood actor Aamir Khan’s personal assistant Amos left for his heavenly abode on Tuesday morning (May 12). He passed away after suffering a heart attack. The ‘PK’ star considered Amos like a family member and even recommended him to Rani Mukerji while he was not acting in films due to personal reasons. Aamir’s team rushed Amos to the hospital after he collapsed on Tuesday. The ‘3 Idiots’ actor and his wife Kiran Rao are devastated after hearing the news of Amos’ death. Aamir and Kiran attended Amos' funeral, which was held at a cemetery in Mumbai. The couple was snapped at the last rites of actor's personal assistant by the paparazzi. They wore masks as a precautionary measure against the deadly Coronavirus, which has wreaked havoc all across the world. While Aamir was seen in a t-shirt, his wife Kiran wore beige top and palazzo pants. Both of them offered their condolences and extended support to Amos’ family.

" No one can take Amos' place in Aamir's life. The actor himself believed that he is incomplete without him. Amos used to accompany Aamir Khan to his shoots, no matter where they took place. He would take care of Aamir like a family member. Amos knew about Aamir's daily routine and even treated the actor's guests so well," Karim Hajee told ABP News.

Aamir and Amos had long association, having worked together for more than two decades. The 'Thugs of Hindostan' stood silent during the last rites of Amos.

On the professional front, Aamir Khan will be next seen in the Hindi adaptation of ‘Forrest Grump’. The film titled ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan. The much-awaited movie is slated to hit the silver screens in December 2020. Watch this space for more updates!
