Aamir Khan Praises Akshay Kumar's 'Laxmmi Bomb' Trailer; Akki Says 'Truly Means A Lot In These Heavy Times'

Akshay Kumar thanked Aamir Khan after the latter praised the trailer of 'Laxmmi Bomb' and wished the entire team for their upcoming film.

The trailer of Akshay Kumar starrer 'Laxmmi Bomb' has managed to create anticipation among the movie buffs. Laxmmi Bombs' trailer reportedly became the most watched trailer in India with over 70 million views in 24 hours. Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, who will be next seen in 'Laal Singh Chaddha', took to social media to praise the film's trailer. WATCH:  Laxmmi Bomb Trailer OUT! 'A Circus Of Family And Ghosts' Is Sure To Leave You In Splits! Aamir lauded Akshay Kumar's performance and said that he can't wait to watch the flick. He also wished that 'Laxmmi Bomb' could release in cinema halls. For the uninitiated, the horror comedy drama will premiere directly on Disney+ Hotstar on November 9, a day before the finals of IPL 2020. "Dear @akshaykumar, what a superb trailer, my friend. Can't wait to see it. This will be huge! Wish it was releasing in the theatres. And your performance is outstanding! Best wishes to everyone," Aamir tweeted. Akshay responded to Aamir's generous tweet and thanked him for supporting the film amid the tough times. Khiladi Kumar said that he was touched by Khan's gesture. He wrote, "Dear @aamir_khan, thank you so much for your kind words and supportive encouragement, truly means a lot in these heavy times. So touched my friend. #MenSupportingMen."
Akshay Kumar will be seen playing the role of a transgender in 'Laxmmi Bomb'. His character will be possessed by the spirit, who will seek revenge from her enemies. 'Laxmmi Bomb', which is the Hindi remake of Tamil hit ' Muni: Kanchana 2', also stars Kiara Advani, Ayesha Raza Mishra, Ashwini Kalsekar and Rajesh Sharma in pivotal roles. The much-awaited movie has been helmed by Raghava Lawrence who directed the original film. The movie was originally slated to hit the silver screens on Eid 2020; however, it got delayed due to the COVID-19 crisis. The makers later sold the digital rights to the leading OTT platform.
