Mumbai: Who can ever forget the sizzling chemistry between Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’? The two Bollywood stars had set the silver screens on fire with their scorching chemistry in the romantic drama, which released on October 20, 1995. The film, which marked the directorial debut of Aditya Chopra, had created ripples at the box office, setting new records. 

‘DDLJ’, which is considered one of the most loved films of all times, has completed 26 successful years of release on Wednesday. Movie buffs have flooded social media with several throwback pictures and scenes from the movie to celebrate the milestone. 

Shah Rukh Khan, who won hearts with his power-packed performance as Raj, didn’t share any post to mark the occasion. SRK has refrained from sharing anything on his social media handles since his son’s arrest in a drug case. His elder son Aryan Khan is currently lodged at Mumbai’s Arthur Road Central Jail. 

A special NDPS Court has rejected Aryan’s bail application in connection with the seizure of drugs case. The star kid was detained and later arrested following a raid on a Goa-bound cruise on October 2.  

What Did SRK Share On 25 Years Of DDLJ? 

The 'Badshah' of Bollywood had shared a post to mark the silver jubilee of 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' on Twitter. "25 years!!! Filled with gratitude towards you for loving Raj & Simran, with all your heart. This always feels special. #DDLJ25," the 'Chennai Express' star had tweeted in 2020.

While Shah Rukh hasn't shared a post, Kajol penned a note to celebrate 26 years of ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’. She shared the iconic train scene from the blockbuster along with the caption, "Simran caught the train 26 years back and we are still thanking everyone for all this love."
