'This One Is Evergreen': Aishwarya Rai Shares Heartwarming Throwback Pics To Mark 22 Years Of 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam'

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan expressed gratitude towards Sanjay Leela Bhansali as their film 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam' completed 22 years of release.

Mumbai: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan penned a heartfelt post to mark twenty years of her classic film ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’. The former Miss World shared a series of throwback photos from the sets of her film co-starring Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn. She thanked the audience for showering the movie with love and expressed gratitude towards Sanjay Leela Bhansali on social media.  

“22 years of “HUM DIL DE CHUKE SANAM” I am reminded, by such an outpouring of love… but my dearest Sanjay… This one is evergreen… Forever… THANK YOU… and to ALL our audience world over… and my ever. LOVING family of well-wishers… THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR LOVE…ALWAYS. Much LOVE too,” Aishwarya wrote.

In one of the candid photos, Rai and Bhansali can be seen smiling while twinning in blue. Aishwarya posted another snap wherein she and SLB are busy discussing a scene.

How Salman Celebrated 22 Years Of 'HDDCS'?

The 'Radhe' actor shared a throwback photo with Sanjay Leela Bhansali from the sets of their film on Instagram. He captioned the post as, "Baees saal ho gye #HumDilDeChukeSanam ko." Varun Dhawan, Karan Tacker and other celebs posted comments on Khan's Instagram photo. 

Salman played the role of Sameer in the romantic musical drama, which emerged as one of the biggest hits in 1999. Salman and Aishwarya's chemistry created ripples on the silver screen, setting the cash registers jingling. The movie followed the story of a newly-wed man (Ajay), who decides to reunite his wife (Aishwarya) with her lover (Salman) after discovering she is still in love with him despite their marriage.

Aishwarya Rai's Upcoming Films

On the professional front, the 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' actress was last seen in 'Fanney Khan', which released in August 2018. She will make her comeback to the big screen with Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyin Selvan'.
