Manoj Bajpayee Tests Positive For Covid-19 During Shoot!
The ‘Satya’ actor was shooting for ‘Despatch’, which is being helmed by director Kanu Behl.
After Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor and filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, it’s actor Manoj Bajpayee who has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Bajpayee is currently under home quarantine and is recovering well.
Manoj Bajpayee had been shooting for an OTT movie and the film’s shoot was halted after the news of actor testing positive for covid-19. The shoot is likely to resume after a few months. Earlier film's director Kanu Behl too had tested positive for coronavirus.
In a statement, his team confirmed, “Manoj Bajpayee has tested Covid positive after his director was infected with it. The shoot has stopped and will resume in couple of months. Manoj Bajpayee is on medication and recovering well. He is in self-quarantine at home and following all precautions.”
The ‘Satya’ actor was shooting for ‘Despatch’, which is being helmed by director Kanu Behl. It is produced by Ronnie Screwvala and will be shot in London, Delhi and Mumbai.
Manoj, who started the shoot of the film in February is also awaiting the release of season two of his Amazon Prime Video series The Family Man and his film Silence… Can You Hear It? That will premiere on March 26 on streaming platform ZEE5.
