Johnny Depp Spends Rs 48 Lakhs At Indian Restaurant After Trial Win Against Amber Heard

Meanwhile, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's case trial came to an end last week with Depp getting $15 million dollars- $10 as compensatory damages and $ 5 million in punitive damages. 

Johnny Depp has won the defamation trial against ex-wife and actress Amber Heard. To mark the celebrations, Depp indulged himself in a special dinner with friends at an Indian restautant called Varanasi in the UK. The actor reportedly spend Rs 48 laks( $62,000) at the restaurant.

The celebratory dinner happened in Birmingham, England on Sunday evening, New York Post reported. The  'Pirates of the Carribean' star was also accompanied by musician Jeff Beck.

"We had a call out of the blue on Sunday afternoon saying that Johnny Depp wanted to come to eat with a group of people," Mohammed Hussain, operations director of Varanasi, told the Post.

"I was shocked, and at first, I thought it might have been a joke. But then his security team arrived and checked out the restaurant, and we let them have the whole place because we were concerned that he might be bothered by other diners," Mr Hussain added.

The restaurant's official Instagram handle shared pictures of Depp from his dinner at 'Birmingham's largest Indian restaurant', as it bills itself.

Multiple videos of the actor engaging with the diners have gone viral and have been shared by multiple users on Instagram.

Depp seems to be having a really good time engaging with fans and diners at the Varanasi restaurant in Birmingham. 

Meanwhile, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's case trial came to an end last week with Depp getting $15 million dollars- $10 as compensatory damages and $ 5 million in punitive damages. 

The Fairfax County Jury also awarded $ 2 million to Amber Heard on account of compensatory damages after they recognized that one of Depp's lawyers had defamed her.
