Critics Choice Awards Complete Winners List: Oppenheimer Wins Big With 8 Awards, Barbie Gets 6 Wins

After asserting its dominance in the Golden Globes Award, Christoper Nolan’s ‘Oppenheimer’ was the big winner at the Critics Choice Awards also.

New Delhi: After asserting its dominance in the Golden Globes Award, Christoper Nolan’s ‘Oppenheimer’ was the big winner at the Critics Choice Awards also. The Cillian Murphy starrer took home eight trophies including Best Picture, Christopher Nolan as best director, and Robert Doney Jr Best Supporting Actor for the film. Barbie followed Oppenheimer with six wins including Best Comedy and Best Song. 

Oppenheimer also won Best Editing, Best Cinematography, Best Visual Effects, Best Score, and Best Acting Ensemble awards. 

Best Actor and Actress categories’ win was a surprise with Emma Stone winning Best Actress for ‘Poor Things’ and Paul Giamatti winning Best Actor for ‘The Holdovers’. 

On the television side, ‘The Bear’, ‘Succession’ and ‘Beef’ won big. ‘The Bear’ and ‘Beef’ took home four awards each, and 'Succession' landed three.

Best Production Design: Sarah Greenwood and Katie Spencer for ‘Barbie’ 

Best Editing: Jennifer Lame for ‘Oppenheimer’ 

Best Costume Design: Jacqueline Durran for ‘Barbie’ 

Best Hair and Makeup: ‘Barbie’ 

Best Visual Effects: ‘Oppenheimer’
