Claims About Hema Malini Testing Positive For Covid-19 Surface On Social Media; Esha Deol Brushes Off As 'Rumours'

After rumours about veteran actress Hema Malini testing positive for Coronavirus went rife on social media, her daughter Esha Deol had to step up to refute the rumours.

Esha Deol called the news absolutely fake and asserted that her mother, Hema Malini, is fit and fine. She asked her followers and supporters to not to react to such rumours. "My mother @dreamgirlhema is fit & fine ! The news regarding her health is absolutely fake so please don’t react to such rumours! Thanks to everyone for their love & concern."

She also expressed concern for the health of legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan and wished him a speedy recovery. Taking to Twitter, Esha wrote, "He is a fighter.  He will come out of this ... He wins over everything..   This time too.. He will be fine I pray that Amit uncle gets well soon ... back home safe & healthy," she tweeted.

Rumours about Ranbir Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor testing positive for Coronavirus also made way into social media, which Riddhima had to categorically deny. A fake tweet claimed that Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapor and Karan Johar have also tested positive for Coronava party hosted by Riddhima Kapoor. "Attention seeking ??? Least verify/ clarify ! We are fit We are good ! Stop spreading rumours ! #lunatics,” Riddhima responded to the false claims.
