Happy Children's Day 2022: 5 Bollywood Movies To Watch With Your Kids On This Day

On this day, you can also watch some exciting movies with your child and make the day special for them. Here are some Bollywood movies that you may watch:

New Delhi: Children's Day is approaching and you must be preparing to spend the day with your little ones. This is a special day dedicated to children and is marked as the birth anniversary of the first prime minister of India- Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. 

On this day, you can also watch some exciting movies with your child and make the day special for them. Here are some Bollywood movies that you may watch:

1. Taare Zameen Par:

Ishaan, the protagonist of the film, is a young child who is frequently scolded by his parents and teachers for not doing well in school and not exhibiting any interest in it. His parents are forced to enrol him in a boarding school due to the persistent complaints from his school and his declining grades. Ishaan's father makes him go to a boarding even though he doesn't want to. 

Ishaan, however, was good at painting and had no bounds to his imagination. But,  Ishaan stops painting as well after learning he will be attending a boarding school. There is also no progress in him there, much to the utter dismay of his parents. Later, with Nikumbh sir's assistance, Ishaan's parents learn that he has dyslexia and that he needs special education.

Ishaan progressively makes friends with Nikumbh sir as a result of his encouragement, guidance, and playfulness. Ishaan returns to painting at last, and he excels in his academics as well.

2. Koi Mil Gaya:

The protagonist of the novel is Rohit, who is physically an adult but mentally still a child. He endures a great deal of humiliation as the boys in his age group make fun of his abnormalities. But the other children he attends school with, genuinely like him. Rohit's mother never stops encouraging him, telling him that he would undoubtedly have good days and that everything will improve.

One day, Rohit accidentally pushes several keys while tinkering with his father's computer. He displays the same to his friend Nisha while being completely unaware of what he was doing.

A storm is sparked as a result, and a UFO carrying some aliens appears. Unluckily, one of them ends up lost in the woods.
The alien meets Rohit and Nisha, who are fascinated by it. They take it home, give it the name 'Jadoo', and save it from the forest. Jadoo in turn blesses Rohit with his supernatural powers and Rohit's life changes forever.

3. Bhootnath:

Its a story of a family who has just moved to a new house. Its a huge mansion, but is rumoured to be haunted by the spirit of the owner. The spirit, Kailash Nath despises anyone who comes to stay at his place and in a similar way, did not want Banku and his family also to stay there. Banku, being a notorious and fun-loving child gets to hear about the rumours at school and questions his mother about ghosts. His mother tells him that ghosts do not exist, only angels exist.

One night, Banku goes to get some ice-cream for himself from the fridge and strange things happen. While being puzzled by all of it, he also sees the spirit of Kailash Nath. Frightened by the presence of an unknown person all of a sudden, he tries to hide. Kailash Nath attempts to scare him by telling that he is a ghost, but Banku in turn tells that ghosts don't exist but angels do. 

They argue for a while and to the utter surprise of the spirit, Banku is not at all scared of him. Gradually, they become friends and they spend great days together.

4. Stanley Ka Dabba:

If it weren't for some grumpy and selfish instructors who insist on sharing their lunch, little Stanley and his classmates would be having a blast at school. When the Hindi instructor (Amole Gupte) has Stanley buy his own tiffin box, something he never does, or cease attending school, life gets even more challenging.

5. I Am Kalam:

This is the story of Chotu, a young kid who comes from a low-income household and works as a child labourer at a roadside cafe (aka dhaba). Despite the difficulties in his life, he is a content youngster who has a straightforward ambition to become someone like Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.

Chotu, the main character, is sent to a dhaba to labour and provide for the family. Here, he makes friends with the similarly aged royal heir, Rannvijay, who owns a nearby resort. Chotu has an extraordinary passion for information and education, and he daydreams of dressing up like Rannvijay and going to school in a tie and uniform.

A chance encounter with Dr. Kalam's greeting march and the Republic Day Parade follows. He learns about the President out of curiosity and decides to become someone like him right away and he starts referring to himself as Kalam after this.
