Fashion Designer Rohit Verma Recalls How Nisha Rawal's Head Was Bleeding After A Fight With Karan Mehra

New Delhi: Television actors Nisha Rawal and Karan Mehra have been hitting the headlines for accusing each other with different allegations for their troubled marriage. Last year, Nisha had filed an FIR against Karan who is best known for his role as Naitik in the daily soap 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', accusing him of domestic violence and of having an extramarital affair. Although he denied the charges, he was arrested by the police and granted bail, later.

In a recent interview to the entertainment media portal PinkVilla, celebrity fashion designer Rohit Verma, who is a close friend of the estranged couple, opened up on Karan and Nisha's equation and recalled the incident that made everything go astray. He narrated the incident when Karan had hit Nisha after a fight and she was bleeding from her head.

He said, "I have the same amount of love I have for Karan that I always had, although he has filed a defamation case against me. I am fighting. But at that time (describing a situation), the kind of situation that was, when you see a girl bleeding from the head, you won’t see left and right. I was not a part of that fight."

Rohit then said that despite being hurt, Nisha asked Karan 'to say sorry and finish it off' but things only escalated between the two for the worse. Being a close friend of the couple, Rohit shared that he still wants them to patch up.

He further added, "When I reached there, their building friends had already called the police. I was silently standing and seeing Nisha’s bleeding head. While Nisha was leaving, she told Karan to say sorry and finish it off. But situation that night was so bad that everyone lost their mental balance. I just stood with my friend. Nisha is an adult person and she knows what’s right and wrong for her. Everyone takes their own decisions. We just stand by our friends. But that doesn’t mean that we are involved in their controversy, which as a matter of fact, is still going on. Both of them are very important for me. If I had a magic wand, I would want both of them to patch up."

Speaking to Siddharth Kanan, Rohit revealed some details about Nisha and Karan's relationship. "There were problems in their marriage in 2014 and I saved their marriage and made Karan understand where he was going wrong. But Nisha is that kind of a person that she is hungry for love. She came from a broken family and never got her father's love. Her mother brought her up with a lot of patience. All of Nisha's ex-boyfriends used to pamper her a lot. I have seen her journey. She is such a sensible girl and there's Sarasvati in her tongue. She can convince anyone. That's her plus point. That's her USP. She's not such a bad person. But when you stand with your friend and your friend goes on the wrong road, you have to tell them."

While Karan accused Nisha of having an extramarital affair with Rohit Satia in a recent press conference, Rohit Verma refuted all the rumours and said that on the contrary, Karan Mehra has a girl named 'MM' in his life.
