‘Everyone Has An Opinion On Everything’: Kareena Kapoor Speaks On Ranveer Singh's Photoshoot Controversy
In a recent interview, actress Kareena Kapoor remarked that Ranveer Singh's photoshoot is an "open ticket for everyone."
New Delhi: Ranveer Singh's recent photograph with no clothes is constantly receiving a subsequent backlash. An FIR was filed in Mumbai when an NGO complained, claiming that he had hurt the sentiments of women in general and insulted their modesty via his images. In a recent interview, actress Kareena Kapoor remarked that Ranveer Singh's photoshoot is an "open ticket for everyone."
Kareena told India Today, "I think bolne ke liye sabko bolna hai (I think people say it for the sake of saying). It is an open ticket for everyone to discuss and have debates. I feel like everyone has a lot of free time too because everyone has an opinion on everything. I don’t know why it is such a big take. Like I said, it just proves that everyone has a lot of free time."
Janhvi Kapoor has already commented on Ranveer Singh's photoshoot. News agency PTI cited her as stating, “I think it is our freedom and I don’t think anyone should be penalised for their artistic freedom.”
Alia Bhatt, Arjun Kapoor, Vidya Balan and Swara Bhasker are among a few of the prominent stars who have supported Ranveer Singh.
During this time, Kareena is preparing for the premiere of her next film, ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, in which she co-stars with Aamir Khan and Naga Chaitanya. On August 11, theaters will begin showing the movie, which is an adaption of the timeless Hollywood film classic Forrest Gump.
The filming of her OTT debut, directed by Sujoy Ghosh, has also just been completed. The Devotion of Suspect X is the inspiration for the film, which also stars Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma.
