‘Don’t Like It, Don’t Look At It’: Swara Bhasker Supports Ranveer Singh On His Latest Photoshoot
Ranveer Singh posed for Paper magazine as a tribute to the pop superstar of the 1970s, Burt Reynolds.
New Delhi: Ranveer Singh became an overnight internet sensation after he posted daring photos from a magazine cover shoot. While Bollywood stars and internet users applauded him for his daring decision, a minority of people attacked him for his nude photoshoot.
Ranveer posed for Paper magazine as a tribute to the pop superstar of the 1970s, Burt Reynolds, who had also gone nude for a magazine shoot in 1972.
Recently, actress Swara Bhasker addressed people’s outrage for Ranveer Singh's pictures. She argued that his morality was not an issue.
Swara tweeted, “Daily cases of injustice & oppression in India, but sure.. our outrage is reserved for @RanveerOfficial’s photos! I mean, seriously. don’t like it, don’t look at it! Not your cup of tea, don’t drink it! But don’t ‘thopo’ ur preferences on us! And no, this isn’t a moral issue!”

For the unversed, Paper Magazine is, interestingly the same publication that caused a stir on the internet in 2014 with its famous photoshoot featuring Kim Kardashian and champagne.
On the work front, Ranveer will next be seen in the films ‘Cirkus’ directed by Rohit Shetty and ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ directed by Karan Johar. Meanwhile, Swara was most recently seen in the short film titled ‘Sheer Qorma,’ which was released in 2021.
